Coroflex is designed to meet the unique photographic, data-storage and security requirements necessary for medical forensic examinations of children and adults who have suffered sexual and physical abuse.
By incoroporating innovative technologies, minimal photographic expertise are required to secure high quality, in-focus images and videos. In-addition the system has be designed to allow for hands free operations in situations where the user needs to use both hands during and examination.

HARDWARE BUILT TO LAST
PHOTOGRAPHY
Incorporates a Canon digtal SLR camera with a LED ring light. The camera is mounted on a counter balanced, height adjustable are requiring minimal effort to position. No photos are stored on cameras memory cards and the camera is A/C powered so does not require batteries.
VIDEO
Record video clips in high definition, with or without audio. During playback videos can be paused and still frames saved as photographs.
ANNONTATION
A group of annotation tools, selected and added via the touch screen interface, will allow the examiner to add shapes, lines, orientation diagrams and written notes to images. Helping to identify a possible injury and add comments.
WORKFLOW
As soon as a photograph is taken, it is displayed on the touchscreen monitor so the examiner can assess if the image is in focus. They can then continue with the examination based on the immediate confirmation they they have secured a high quality image.
SOFTWARE BUILT TO LAST
PEER REVIEW
Photos can be electronically shared with third parties easily through the peer review system. Reviewers are sent an e-mail informing them they have a new case to view. Cases are protected by password created by the user. When the password is correctly entered, the reviewer can view the photos on any internet connected device.
STORAGE
Flexible options available for long term case storage. Cortexflo can integrate with most existing network based storage systems, or Storage Module can be supplied for standalone implementation.
FOOT PEDAL
The foot pedal gives and examiner the flexibility to decide how to take photographs/video dependent on the physical position of the patient. Allowing the examiner free use of both hands.
VOICE CONTROL
User customizable commands to focus the camera and capture photos and videos. Allows for true hands free operation once the camera is correctly positioned.
CONTRAST FILTERS & ALS
CONtrast filter
Two contrast filters can be applied to photos. Our contrast filter use the Histogram Equalization approach as used in other image tools, like Thumbs Plus. Contrast filters can help identify bruising and provide an alternative view of injuries.
ALS
Our ring light includes a set of 455nm UV LED as well as our standard 5600k LED.The easily detachable orange filter can be applied to the camera lens to enable ALS mode on the camera. Photos can then be captured under UV light and regular light without changing the position or angle of the camera.
MOBILITY
EASY TRANSPORT
Coretexflo Capture Mobile retains all the funcationality of the fixed location model, but allows for the system to be transported and set up in multiple locations. This ideal for ???
Carried in two secure, wheeled cases, the mobile system can be configured quickly by a single user. The touch screen and camera are placed on versatile tripods, the can be adjusted in height and direction.
For pediatric locations there are a number of child friendly designs that can help create a less intimidating environment for examinations.

Photo Storage
Photos can be stored on secure share drives or other network storage locations.
MD5 & SHA1 Hashing
Hash values for all photos and video files are generated and stored. Hash values can be used to verify the integrity of digital evidence.
Role Based Access
Access to software features can be controlled by granting / revoking roles to individual users.
EHR INTEGRATION
Can integrate with electronic health recored systems to directly store phots in patient chart
ACTIVE DIRECTORY INTEGRATION
Users can be authenticated using active directory instead of passwords
CUSTOM PATIENT INFORMATION
Choose what information is used to identify patients, for example, Case Number, MRN, Name, Initials, DOB etc.
DELETE PHOTOS
Photos which are not required can safely be deleted from cases.
RECYCLE BIN
Deleted photos can be recovered.
PHOTO EXPORT
Photos can be exported to USB, DVD and network storage. Either encrypted with a password or unencrypted
CASE TRANSFER
Securely transfer cases between Cortexflo systems
SYNCHRONIZATION
Cortexflo systems in multiple locations can be synchronised to a central database for easy access to cases and for updating users
